Hands-on machinery movement and site support

About the Role

We’re looking for practical, hands-on individuals to support machinery relocation and plant preparation activities across a range of project environments.

This role involves assisting with the cleaning, positioning, and movement of plant and equipment to ensure it is ready for dispatch, installation, or relocation. Work may take place in yard environments or on site, depending on project requirements.

In practice, the role involves:

  • Preparing plant and equipment for transport or installation

  • Cleaning and inspecting machinery prior to dispatch

  • Assisting with safe positioning and relocation of equipment

  • Supporting lifting and transport teams during mobilisation

  • Working within structured health and safety procedures

The role suits individuals who are comfortable working around heavy plant, understand site safety expectations, and are physically capable of hands-on work.

What we’re looking for

This role is well suited to individuals with experience working around plant and site equipment.

You’re likely a good fit if you:

  • Have experience with plant machinery such as excavators, telehandlers, or similar equipment
  • Understand basic health and safety practices within industrial or site environments
  • Are physically fit and comfortable working in practical roles
  • Can follow instructions and work as part of a coordinated team
  • Take a careful and responsible approach to equipment handling

Desirable but not essential:

  • CSCS card
  • Previous yard or plant hire experience
  • Experience assisting with machinery movement or dispatch
