Supporting safe load preparation and crane communication
We’re looking for experienced CPCS Slinger / Signallers to support planned lifting operations across a wide range of industrial, infrastructure, and specialist projects.
The role involves preparing loads for lifting, attaching lifting accessories, and communicating clearly with crane operators to ensure safe and controlled movements. Slinger / Signallers play a critical part in maintaining safety and coordination during lifting activities on site.
In practice, the role involves:
Selecting and attaching appropriate lifting accessories
Preparing loads for safe lifting
Directing crane movements using recognised signals or radio communication
Working closely with lifting supervisors and crane operators
Supporting safe execution of lifting plans on site
This role suits experienced lifting professionals who are confident working within structured, safety-critical environments and understand the importance of precision and communication during lifting operations.
