Overseeing safe and coordinated lifting operations
We’re looking for experienced CPCS Lifting Supervisors to support planned lifting operations across a wide range of industrial, infrastructure, and specialist projects.
The role involves overseeing and coordinating lifting activity on site, ensuring operations are carried out safely, in line with lift plans, method statements, and site procedures. Lifting Supervisors play a key part in maintaining control of lifting operations and ensuring that work is delivered in accordance with agreed plans.
In practice, the role involves:
Supervising lifting operations in line with the lift plan
Ensuring the correct lifting equipment and accessories are used
Confirming that lift teams understand the method statement
Coordinating with crane operators, slinger/signallers, and site management
Monitoring safety and compliance during lifting activities
Intervening where necessary to maintain safe working conditions
This role suits experienced lifting professionals who are confident leading on-site lifting operations, understand regulatory requirements, and are comfortable working within structured, coordinated project environments.
