We work in partnership with a number of local authorities across Hampshire and further afield, providing a range of services to enable the successful delivery of works and improvements in line with local agendas.
Local authorities often utilise our HIAB hire services to remove and relocate large items and loads. This is usually as part of a bigger project, and our versatile fleet of HIABs is regularly called upon to assist in various tasks, helping to progress the project in a timely manner.
We work in partnership with local harbourmasters, usually to assist in the removal and disposal of abandoned boats. The harbourmaster will identify the vessels that have been abandoned, and instruct us to remove them from the water or shore utilising one of our HIABs, and transport them to a third party disposal point for scrapping.
We undertake extensive groundworks for local authorities, including extensive enabling works, which encompass the preparation of sites in readiness for the first stage of development. This can include tasks such as ground clearance, building access routes and preliminary construction work.
We often get involved in projects such as improvements to local country parks, footpath rejuvenation, car park upgrades, and maintenance works in and around lakes, ponds and rivers.
We worked closely with Gosport Borough Council recently to get a set of new allotments ready for use. We assisted with preparatory work for the allotment site, including assisting with the installation of a new water system.
